O. Clinton Patterson, CPA
Clint graduated from Florida Southern College in 1966 with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in accounting. He began his public accounting career with Coopers & Lybrand in West Palm Beach, Florida.
In January 1981, Clint merged his Brooksville accounting practice with those of Raymond Oliver & Herman Vidal to form the present firm of Oliver & Joseph, P.A. In 1986, he moved his residence to Spring Hill and assumed management of the Spring Hill branch while he serves on the Board of Directors.
Clint is a member of the American and Florida Institutes of Certified Public Accountants, The North Suncoast Chapter of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the North Suncoast Estate Planning Council. He is also a member of the Kiwanis Club of Spring Hill where he is a past president. He is presently the treasurer of the Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Oliver & Joseph, P.A. Board of Directors.
Early in his career, Clint had experience primarily in the auditing field, with five years in the audit department of Coopers & Lybrand. Since moving to Hernando County his experience has been in a variety of tax areas including personal and business income tax, taxes for non-profits, estate, trust, and gift tax.
